Make something
you can stand behind.
Twistfully is a studio for original stories and a developing home for the people who enjoy them. These are the expectations that guide creation and publication here.
Updated October 7, 2026Create as an adult. Choose your audience carefully.
Creator accounts are for people 18 and older. Family and kids are story formats for adult creators, not child account types. Selecting a family label is not a safety certification. Review the full story, imagery, dialogue, and sound for its intended audience.
Bring work you have the right to use.
Use scripts, footage, music, references, and voices you created or have appropriate permission to use. Respect a person’s consent when using their likeness or voice. Do not impersonate someone, fabricate their endorsement, or present an invented performance as their authentic words.
AI generation does not establish ownership or clear rights for you. Check source permissions and the terms of the generation services involved before sharing or using work commercially.
Make the artificial parts clear.
Describe materially generated or altered footage honestly. Label synthetic people, reconstructed scenes, and generated archival-style material when a viewer could reasonably mistake them for real evidence. Keep those disclosures with the work, not only in private production notes.
A fictional story can be imaginative without pretending that its events occurred. A documentary needs a clear distinction between recorded evidence, interpretation, and reconstruction.
Verify the facts. Preserve the sources.
For nonfiction and documentary, retain sources for factual claims and obtain consent for interviews and identifiable participants where appropriate. Do not invent testimony, quotes, credentials, statistics, or events and present them as verified reporting. A model’s answer is a starting point for checking, not a source of proof.
Protect the people in and around the story.
Do not use Twistfully for sexual exploitation, nonconsensual intimate imagery, threats, targeted harassment, fraud, or material that exposes someone’s private information. Never sexualize minors. Do not use generation to disguise abuse or manufacture misleading evidence about a real person.
Review before an audience sees it.
Check character continuity, dialogue, pacing, rights, sourcing, and audience suitability. A premium model can produce errors, inconsistent characters, and inappropriate details. The final creative and factual review still matters.
Draft saving and generation do not automatically publish a story. The public catalog uses separate visibility and review requirements. Public self-publishing and a complete review workflow are still being developed; the presence of a draft, generated clip, or exported project is not publication approval.
Know what the current studio provides.
Twistfully is an early release. Available tools and connected models are identified in the studio. Do not assume a model is connected, a render is free, a film has been reviewed, or a feature is available because it appears in the broader creative process.
